Who is eligible for this promotion?

This promotion applies to BUX clients who don’t yet have an ABN AMRO bank account. As a new customer, you qualify for the €125 cash bonus if you meet the following criteria:

• You are 18 years or older
• You have an official Dutch residential address
• You have a valid Dutch ID, residence permit, or international passport
• You are not yet a client of ABN AMRO
• You open a bank account yourself via the ABN AMRO app (the promotion only applies to the Basic Payment Package)
• You keep the Switching Service active for its full duration (13 months)

How is the payment made?

You’ll receive the money in your account on the day that your monthly bank account fee is charged. In some cases, it may take longer due to the processing time of the promotion. The reward is settled together with the deduction of the monthly fee.

On the last working day of each month, we check whether you’ve completed one or more of the three steps. The corresponding amount is then settled with your monthly fee. The check for the final €25 reward (step 3) is done after three full calendar months following the opening of your bank account. This check also occurs on the last working day of that month.

You’ll recognize the payment on your bank statement with these descriptions:

Reward 1 – Switching Service active

Reward 2 – Savings account opened

Reward 3 – €300 saved
