To whom does the promotion apply?

This promotion applies to BUX customers who don’t have a bank account with ABN AMRO yet. As a new customer, you will qualify for a €100 cash bonus if you meet the following criteria:

• You are aged 18 years or older.
• You have an official Dutch home address.
• You have a Dutch ID, a residence permit or an international passport.
• You don’t have a bank account with ABN AMRO bank before the promotion date.

What does the promotion entail?

To enter this promotion you need to create a new ABN AMRO bank account and activate the app and your debit card, make at least 10 payments and have 3 salary payments paid into your bank account. The promotion runs from 3 October to 31 December and the cash bonus of €100* will be distributed 6 months after you created your account.

*The € 100 cash will be paid out in 3 different steps.

How does it work?

Step 1: Create an account and activate the app and your debit card within 3 months. Then you’ll receive the first € 25.

Step 2: Make at least 10 payments using your (digital) debit card within the first 3 months. After you’ll receive the next € 25.

Step 3: To receive the final € 50, have at least 3 salary payments paid into your account within the first 6 months.

When will the €100 cash bonus be credited to your bank account?

The money will be credited to your bank account on the same day as the monthly fee for your bank account is deducted. The processing time for the promotion takes a month longer, and we deduct your monthly fee from the amount you receive. We check whether you’ve completed one or more of the 3 steps on the last working day of the month. You will see your gift on your next statement, min your regular monthly fee. The check for paying out the final € 50 (step 3) is carried out 6 months after you open your account. You’ll recognize the payment from our payment reference on your statement:

Gift 1 – Activation of app and card
Gift 2 – 10 payments made
Gift 3 – 3 salary payments paid in

Other important information:

• ABN AMRO Bank N.V. reserves the right to amend the promotion terms and conditions or to cancel or extend the term of the promotion at any time, in which case an updated, amended version of the promotion terms and conditions will be posted on abnamro.nl.
• You can only take advantage of this promotion once, so you can only open one new bank account in your name.
• The promotion is an initiative of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. with registered offices in Amsterdam.
• ABN AMRO will use your details for the purpose of this promotion only, and we will not share them with third parties.
• This promotion is governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from this promotion will be heard in the first instance by the competent court in Amsterdam.

Exclusions

• If you enter incorrect personal data, you will be excluded from the promotion.
• ABN AMRO reserves the right to exclude participants from the promotion at any time if it is of the opinion that the participant has violated one or more conditions of participation, has provided incorrect or incomplete information, or has acted in any other legally impermissible manner.
